- Cell phones depend on electromagnetic radiation theory, which was pioneered by creationist James Clerk Maxwell (1831–1879)
- Computing machines were invented by Charles Babbage (1791–1871), who was not a biblical creationist but was a creationist in the broad sense. He ‘believed that the study of the works of nature with scientific precision, was a necessary and indispensable preparation to the understanding and interpreting their testimony of the wisdom and goodness of their Divine Author.’
- The creationist brothers Orville (1871–1948) and Wilbur Wright (1867–1912) invented the airplane after studying God’s design of birds.
- The theory of planetary orbits was invented by Johannes Kepler (1571–1630), famous for claiming that his discoveries were ‘thinking God’s thoughts after him’. Kepler also calculated a creation date of 3992 bc, close to Ussher’s
. - The theory of gravity and the laws of motion, essential for the moon landings, was discovered by the creationist Isaac Newton (1642/3–1727).

Darwinismo 
Oh Mats, penso que este post não faz muito sentido, e passo a explicar porquê:
Eu não tenho problemas de espécie alguma com cientistas cristãos (ou de qualquer outro credo), desde que as suas crenças não interfiram com a objectividade e rigor do método científico.
Por exemplo, a quimica que Boyle ajudou a desenvolver, ou as teorias de electromagnetismo de Maxwell ou Tesla foram criados com base na observação empírica e cuidadoso planeamento de experiencias executadas com método e rigor. Os seus conhecimentos não resultaram directamente de irem ler a Biblia e postularemdirectamente a partir daí que foi Deus que os criou.
O mesmo se passa com os Orville. Se eles estavam interessados em pôr o homem com capacidade de voar, a ideia mais lógica seria a de tentar adaptar as asas que permitem aos pássaros voar. Isso envolveu muito cálculo e muita experiencia falhada.
Quanto aos cientistas da era espacial, também nada a dizer. Presumo que a Bíblia não fale muito sobre alunagens e atmosferas sem oxigénio, e que esse trabalho tenha sido baeado mais em rigoroso trabalho científico.

Isto foi só para mostrar que o facto de se ser um criacionista não impede uma pessoa de ser um excelente cientista. Os criacionistas não são contra a ciência, mas contra filosofias ateístas que tentam falar no nome da ciência. É bom que se ressalve isso.
